Anyone play this different?

I'd start pre preflop by rebuying to 100bbs, 3bet preflop , check flop call turn and bet fold river like 40-45

Reraise pre-flop.

As played probably lead the turn. As played check/raise seems alright, maybe. I really don't like it too much though.

As played river's fine, maybe.

Problem stems from pre-flop. Next time just reraise .... it's an entirely different hand.

Why playing with 76.5 big blinds?

He limped PF, he will be shoving behind everything that beats us. It's better than check/call at least.

Check/fold is best here though I think, he's never bluffing river here.

He had 55, am I right OP?

Edit: Also, lead turn, lead river.

re-raise pre.... as played I think you need to go a little slower on turn and riv in order to get value out of worse hands.

noop, he had A2

I didn't even really register that the board had paired since people shouldn't be betting a set here on the turn or calling a big raise. I was only worried about the A and I thought if he had Ah he'd have bet the flop - plus the fact that it's just unlikely he has this one card in his hand.

I have a frustrating habit of taking tricky lines with big pairs and some other hands since often it gets more value. (I'd recently picked up Aces on the button and 3-bet the cut-off raiser, and everyone folded.) But I think in this spot with a couple of limpers it would be a good idea to isolate and buy position.

Why not? I think I'd lost a hand quite recently and wanted to rebuild with other people's money rather than my own. It's a variation on Phil Ivey's foolproof stop-loss system.
