villain is 27/20 1k+ hands. C/raise flop 6. Don't know anything else about him specifically.

My main question is if I should have raised the turn. Could have flush and straight draws plus Jx hands & sets. I didnt want to raise the turn because the straight got there and wanted him to keep betting his Jx hands. As played I decided to fold the river cuz it felt strong. Correct?

tbh if i am going with the hand i think you get more hands to stack off on the flop. By the turn they aren't really going to continue with air and c/r an overpair on this board without a specific history seems bad.

Do you remember any hands or have any in your database that went to showdown where the rr an opponent cbet in position?

AJ or the diamond draw or even combo of both is far more likely than 34 for a 27/20. I lead the turn, but as played CRAI the turn as hes done exactly what you wanted with your read. If I call then CF that nasty river.

if you c/r here on the turn without a better read then you are severly overplaying you hand.

Fold turn seems optimal given position, but as played fold river is correct.

6% flop check raise flop is only ever sets / combo draws in which you are flipping ...

Villain didn't check raise the flop, I think a small reraise/ get it in on the flop or check shoving turn are both fine. As played AJ got there, all random diamond draws with an ace got there, its a fold.

Guys he didn't check raise.

nh assuming you fold river

if history between you two is agressive enough you can either cr turn or reraise him on flop/get it in and if he has you beat its a cooler.
