Villain runs 28/24; raise cbet 23%

wtf is he representing? A8s, 22? I would never expect him to complete his SB w 88, and i donīt think he would play A2s against my raise. So whatīs my line here at the turn? Check behind with the intention of betting the river, or bet turn?

No-Limit Hold'em, $2.00 BB (4 handed) - Hold'em Manager Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

SB ($383.20)
Hero (BB) ($200)
UTG ($239)
Button ($103.25)

Preflop: Hero is BB with K, Q
1 fold, Button calls $2, SB calls $1, Hero bets $8, 1 fold, SB calls $8

Flop: ($22) 2, 8, A (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $17, SB raises $45, Hero calls $28

Turn: ($112) 5 (2 players)
SB checks, Hero?

Yeah it looks FOS. Imho if you want your bluff to be more credible then check turn and bet river. It's better because he will let you know on the river if he was about to c/r the turn again. I doubt that he's gonna try to bluff you off your hand on the river once you called his c/r on the flop.

what does FOS mean?

Full of ****. And if you put him on air, why bet turn? The only reason to bet is to bluff him off 45s or something that checkraised a gutshot and now beats you, but otherwise you have the best hand, and you're not valuebetting. Just check back and call river as he's not valuebetting a 5. Valuebet if you improve.

check back and call river unimproved? isn't that way too optimstic?

He reps a monster on the flop, which would surely fire 3 streets to get stacks in. Only going for 2 streets with aces up + makes no sense. And if he checkraised 45s or 89s or something, he won't bet river unless he improved, so when he bets river on a T or something you're always good. If you're not, your flop read about him being polarized was incorrect (ie, him having A7s or something). And even if he pots, you only have to be good 33% to call.

i fire the turn. i see people do this with a small pocket pair a lot just trying to see where they are. could be something we're ahead of also, but with K high i don't want to mess around

Not really a big deal, but does anyone like making it 10 pre instead of 8?

i like betting the turn as even though we might have sd value there is the off chance villain did it with a 1 pair hand and is folding to the turn

calling the flop w/ having no idea of what to do on later streets is lighting money on fire

fold flop please

I think ite a pretty bad flop call given that board hits your range well. As others have said its just a recipe for spewing money.

It just looks like he's overusing craise here, and he's probably trying to keep you from drawing out on lower pair or something. I think he checked again with the intention of raising more money out of you.

take your free card and let him squirm, but he probably has you beat with an ace-good kicker

Just bet the turn if you are floating the c/r
