So grossly oversimple spot.
Assume this is your average reg. In this case he had stats 28/19 and 8% 3-bet. CB flop 47%.
Top of our range and it's quite obvious what we have. Would you call here?
As bluffs, I think he could have KJ and maybe he might bluff 76s 78s type of hand, which he cannot win with OTR. I think checking this flop is okay even with some draws.

I think checking the flop is fine OTT it's definitely at least a call so you can count those chips as part of the pot. In this situation with top or 2nd pair if I know I'm going to have to call a river bet pretty much no matter what I will use those river calling chips on the turn instead to check raise that way you give him an opportunity to fold a better hand. Which will never happen if you just call him down. If he fires into you again on the river fold but he will probably check back a lot of marginal hands because of your show of strength OTT.

The raise only has to work about 33% of the time to be profitable aprox.

You don't have KQ or QJs here? Or QQ?

Because I think you should. River might still be a call but this shouldn't be top of your range.

Villain folds a better hand to your checkraise approximately 0% of the time.

Folding river

Yeah I usually fold, you expect him to bet his draws otf and all his 9x takes this line.

Mr Blonde and Nirwanda - what's the worst hand you're calling with here? I take it you're leading turn with AQ?

I think if you check turn with KQ and QJs (and maybe QQ because of blockers?) then we can chuck JJ here. If KQ gets lead out OTT, we're surely not defending enough OTR because we're going to fold TT...if we fold JJ as well that's too many combos we're folding if we're only going to call with QJs (assuming we're chucking the offsuit combos pre).

Fold

Fold you aren't top of your range at all

You should def be flatting some AA KK pre and ofc you can have all QQ AQs etc.
