200NL I thought this was a easy bet, easy call 200NL I thought this was a easy bet, easy call

but now I'm not so sure anymore:

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $2.00 BB (6 handed)

Hero ($200.00)
CO ($112.50)
Button ($237.90)
SB ($133.45)
BB ($314.70)
UTG ($200.00)

Preflop: Hero is MP with K, Q.
UTG calls $2, Hero raises to $9, 1 fold, Button calls $9, SB calls $8, 1 fold, UTG calls $7.

Flop: ($38) 7, 9, Q (4 players)
SB checks, UTG checks, Hero bets $31, Button calls $31, SB folds, UTG folds.

Turn: ($100) A (2 players)
Hero bets $66, Button raises to $197.9, Hero calls $94 (All-In)?

Essentially no reads on villain, 46.7 / 6.7 / 0.8 over 15 hands.

I'd be happy to bet/3bet flop, but I the A is a really bad turn card. Should I bet this turn? What is his range to shove over my turn bet?

c/c turn, c/f river unimproved?
as played i think youre drawing near or completely dead a lot when he shoves the turn here

depends a lot on how aggro villain is on the flop with his draws and strong made hands

That's a really bad turn card as you are now behind AcX. I would probably just check turn and fold to any bigger bet. As played I think you have to fold. You are not even getting odds to draw to the flush which might not even be good when you hit it.

also what were you trying to accomplish with your turn bet? i can only think of one hand that you get value out of (QJs) and even that will often fold to a strong 2nd barrel.
if you're ahead still its not like youre giving away dangerous free cards by checking...

what do you beat here?
only a bluff right..you have bad odds so fold turn

i am not sure if B/F is better then C/C on the turn..any thoughts?

the more i think about it the more i like either a c/f or a c/c on the turn depending on his bet sizing. i just dont think were getting value out of anything on that nasty turn

Well don't forget he's not always shoving the turn if we bet; he can still call with some Qx or JcXx or whatever junk he's holding. He could also just flatcall the turn bet and make b/f cheaper than ch/c.

Are we bet/3betting/shove flop?

ya but youre never getting 3 streets of value out of Jx or worse Qx. and like i said, no river card scares you, assuming you are in fact ahead
so if turn goes check/check you can still v bet any river and get looked up

and ya, i would be getting it in on the flop no problem
