200NL BvB/ AQ / 4bet pot / OOP / vs reg 200NL BvB/ AQ / 4bet pot / OOP / vs reg

Vililian is 21/18 3bet vs steal 11% aggro reg that I hate
and he probably views me and tight bad reg

i hate him as he uses position very well and is verry aggressive.
but this is the first 4bet pot vs him

My plan was 4bet/call PF, as I know he would stack relatively light BvB

for some reason I kinda like bet/calling like $40.

looking back at this, it seems kinda standard imo to bet/call but not so familiar with playing 4bet pots

has he lost a big pot recently? is he tilted? have you been 4betting him a bunch recently?

anything that would suggest that he is flatting with a hand like QJs or 98s or KT or something out of tilt would make check/shoving probably pretty good, or bet/calling small good as well as he is capable of spazzing.

Shove pre.

Grim this foo

Don't agree with shove pre.

I think you need to stack off here - either b/c or c-r. If he is that aggro, I like c-r - and if he checks it back, He's prob got something like 99.

4bet pre is fine.

what do you people think his range is for calling the 4bet?
factors that into 2nd wind says are important and good points imo

I would check fold this all day. Most of the time he'll show u KK type hands because he knows ur bad and you will make a lot of mistakes postflop and dont want to throw ur 4B bluffing range away

I just had a post about this same question but it was btn/vs bb. he called my 4bet in bb and had QT. so what ever happens. and yeah seemed like a reg.

Im the only one that would shove preflop?
01-18-2010 , 01:20 PM
why would you shove pre??

Im not the one calling the 4bet

why would you shove 100bb over his 12bb 3bet

BB has monster...I would c/f this flop. Anyone saying they should bet / call this flop are insane

this or c/f, kinda thin, mix it up, i like this more the first time to get some reads

I would be inclined to c/f as much as that sucks to do. This flop has no scare cards for virtually all of his range imo. he's not going to fold any pp he calls the 4bet with on the flop if we bet. He'll either flat leaving us with more money in the pot and less idea of what to do next or raise us off the hand. The other option is a b/f line if you feel he can put you on QQ+ and muck accordingly.

Do you have a history of b/f or b/shoving in similar situations with him? If he's only seen you put more chips in the pot on the flop when you have it, this may weight your decision towards a b/f line but even still, that's a difficult bet to make for me in this spot.

i like this reason for b/f

but do you think a reg, even a tilted one,

would peel, or shove over a 40 dollar bet with JTs JQs + other air that missed?

I wouldnt but would anyone?

i lean towards the answer being no, making the 40/fold line a great one...

or is it
