folding to a 3bet and checking behind river unless I improve of course. I dunno, just felt right at the time but feels kinda stupid also.

First one the river bet seems meh. Is the villain going to try bluffing you ever if you check? Is he ever calling with a 3?

Raise more on the 2nd one and follow the same plan you described. I probably make it a lot closer to 30. Get more money when you're ahead and when you hit, and ensure he doesn't bet you off your hand unless you're beat.

H1 - c/c river me thinks. Definitely don't like a lead.

H2 - I like a call on the turn. Some might say it's ok to min-raise turn to make the bettor nervous and so give you a cheap showdown. I am not one of those people.

yea its pretty silly.

I really don't hate it though. I didn't wanna flat the turn and have a K or A come on the river and have him fire another bet. it should also slow down better Queens which saves me some cash in case he bets a river blank and I get talked into calling. and since I'm raising such an obvious bluff/scare card, I think 77-JJ might be curious enough to call. meh??

whats best then, just call again? bigger raise?

c/c one,
call two.

river valuebet seems a little thin in hand 1, i think i c/c.

hand 2 i just call turn and go to showdown. that way you get value from JJ-99/A8 etc and don't get bluffed or owned by a better hand.
