Villain is 36/8/1. Limps a ton, 41% WTSD. Could raise pre, but both players are total call stations, so I decided to hit a hand and bet big, as opposed to building a pot with a marginal hand and missing 2/3rds.

Turn sucks- he could have KQ, a lot of queens, and possibly 7s/2 pr/sets/combo draws. But he is passive a station-y.

No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (6 handed) - Hold'em Manager Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

Hero (BB) ($100)
UTG ($138.55)
MP ($67.40)
CO ($101.50)
Button ($151.23)
SB ($132.86)

Preflop: Hero is BB with J, Q
UTG calls $1, 3 folds, SB calls $0.50, Hero checks

Flop: ($3) 10, 9, 8 (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $3, UTG calls $3, 1 fold

Turn: ($9) J (2 players)
Hero bets $8, UTG raises $25, Hero?

i'd call call. I don't want to make it hard for him to keep going w/o a Q. He can have 7x, JT, even JJ sometimes. He could also have something like ATcc.

I'm not super happy about it though, cause he can certainly have KQ here a lot.

Cool ,thanks man. How would you handle turn spots? I'm assuming check, but if he jams on bricks/clubs/Board pairing?

fyp. +1 to call call'ing. I'd just c/c all rivers too, I'm never worried about the board pairing, the clubs are the only possible concern if he has a Q w/ clubs but i'm still not folding. If he has KQ fml, oh well.

+1 to call calling. if he jams when the board pairs i'm still going to call. He either has KQ, Qx, or nothing. i would think utg would have raised pre with KQ so i think he has Qx or nothing. a set would have raised you on the flop. check to induce a bluff on the river and call.

+1 to c and c/c for reasons stated above.

Are you really pot controlling against a station with the second nuts? I shove here and giggle when he tank calls with 73s, AJ, etc.

If he has KQ and QX you're going to stack off anyways...
If he can have 2pair or a set as you stated, why not just get it in on the turn? He's passive stationy so he might call with those and he won't be bluffing air hands anyways. I'd just think of how to maximize value against those hands and not worry about when he has you beat since you're not folding here anyways.

I was thinking about the hand, and I thought of this. Also, considering he's bluffing like never- seems a push maximizes our equity, if were ahead of his range.
