100nl, turn decision with set 100nl, turn decision with set

BB plays 54/22/2 for 47 hands, no big reads on his postflop game, I saw him limp/shove AK utg for around 30bb, and later he almost tripled by catching flush vs overpair and set - he bet the flush on the turn and called a shove

BTN is playing 68/12/1.9 for 122 hands, I haven't seen him do anything out of line

NL Holdem $1(BB) Replayer
SB ($100)
BB ($200.18)
Hero ($100)
CO ($100)
BTN ($108.32)

Dealt to Hero J J

Hero raises to $3.5, fold, BTN calls $3.5, fold, BB calls $2.5

FLOP ($11) 4 5 J

BB checks, Hero bets $8.24, BTN calls $8.24, BB calls $8.24

TURN ($35.72) 4 5 J 7

BB checks, Hero bets $21.86, BTN folds, BB raises to $49

Hero (has $66.40 more) ?

Ok, so would he raise with these?

Do the math.

I also think it's optimistic to think betting here is more +EV then checking with top set, although of all diamonds to bet this is probably the best one.

I prefer bet folding turn over c/c. I'm defo folding to the rr.

Probably no. But when I bet I do not know that I will be raised

we are getting 1:3.14 on his raise, so we will need to improve on the river 24% (if he has nothing weaker than a flush). We will improve 23%, but we have implied odds for the rest of our stack. Also sometimes we are not beat on the turn. But if we only call, can we fold the river getting million to 1? probably no...
Thoughts?

C/c turn with the intention of c/c lots of rivers.

I like the bet against these players, but the raise is 95%+ of the time a made flush. Odds make this a call, but I would c/f river unimproved, even if we seem to be committed.

I think if you were so worried about his flush draw on the flop you should have bet the flop w/e thats fine.

on the turn if you think he made his flush and you know he wont fold it then just check call his $20 raise and hope you fill up on the river or get quads if not fold and you still only paid your $20 but got to see this river in this case and maybe win.

call turn with the intention of calling most rivers...

call turn (as you have the [implied] odds), eventually call river.
