Villain is 22/19/2 and a breakeven player over a large sample

Full Tilt Poker $0.50/$1 No Limit Hold'em - 5 players
The Official 2+2 Hand Converter Powered By DeucesCracked.com

UTG: $324.00
CO: $163.65
BTN: $164.40
SB: $239.00
Hero (BB): $100.00

Pre Flop: ($1.50) Hero is BB with J A
2 folds, BTN raises to $3.50, SB calls $3, Hero calls $2.50

Flop: ($10.50) J 3 6 (3 players)
SB bets $9, Hero calls $9, BTN folds

Turn: ($28.50) 3 (2 players)
SB bets $24, Hero calls $24

River: ($76.50) 4 (2 players)
SB requests TIME, SB bets $36, Hero!?!?!

I have a hard time putting villain on a hand just flatting preflop given he 3bets JJ+, and 33 makes quads....

If Villain thinks you're good this is quads, a boat, or a bluff always.
If Villain doesn't know you or thinks you're bad, this could be another AJ, and maybe but unlikely KJ in addition to the above.

With that said, it's very strange how Villain bet big on flop and turn, setting up perfectly for a river shove, but bet less than 1/2 pot. I think I would call but would expect to see 33/66 a little more than half of the time.

shove, esp if button was passive. he's not folding his last $35 getting 6:1

How is this a weird spot, I think if you shove here you get paid by a crappy J soooo much its ridiculous. If your read is he doesnt flat JJ+ etc then i dont see what the issue is here.

issue is i have a hand where i dont know if im good or not but its hard to put villain on a hand. i dont see villain doing this with worse jacks or much else yet this is apparently a super standard call.
