I fold this river without reads. You actually have a bluff catcher

I raise flop all day long. Why not?

imo because EV of calling>> EV of raising. Let him continue with his bluffs and jam turn (obv not this turn)

Not to be mean, but this hand was played very very poorly. Pre-flop raise size was good, you're building a nice sized pot with a strong hand. You need to raise this flop, I doubt he is leading with a 9 into the pre-flop raiser. He is most likely figuring that on a dry flop like this that you will toss two missed overs. After missing the flop raise, he bets really weak into a $50 pot, again raise here. After the weak turn bet, he pots the river after the 3rd club hits and it looks like he probably sucked out a flush on you and your hand is a bluff catcher.

If he's FOS the play is to call and let him bluff the turn, not to raise. And if you raise this flop you are actually turning your hand into a bad bluff

I raise this turn card too, I don't jam it with a shove, but I'm raising for sure.

played fine. I would fold river.

Only other possible line is possibly raising turn to $50 as a preemptive blocker/protection in case he donked flop with nothing and backed in to club draw.

if I knew more about villain and there was more history (ie he donks flop a lot and I raise his flop donk a lot) I would raise flop but likely flop call is fine with given information.

I sometimes forget to ask myself that important question as well. Why I'm making this play? I don't think that raising with KK in this spot would be turning my hand into a bad bluff and I feel there are arguments for raising.

Figuring how lose this villain is, I could be raising for value against 22+, 67, JT and any random 8 and a few gutters. I agree that giving some rope for any of the pocket pair hands is probably the better play because you're just dodging 2 outs. 67 isn't in his range that often but I think JT is standard for this villain as is the gutters. I don't think making a small raise is a bad play. Is this way off base?

I like the flop call, villain is usually way behind or has a nine, raising doesn't exactly turn your hand into bluff, but the range you're getting value is small compared to that which he'll bet again on the turn.

Fold to the river bet and this is well played imo.

theres tons of weird draws on this board, and an ace sucks for you... of course an ace comes on the turn. i'd raise flop.
