Villain was 40/26 over 44 hands. My initial read was that he was bad-aggressive, but the read wasn't too solid. Unlike a TAG, this player's going to have a wide UTG raising and 3bet calling range. Once he min4bets the hand gets tricky, because I don't yet know what kind of hands he is capable of min4betting. I elected to call because I was getting a good price and I had position. The flop comes pretty good for two jacks, and I see no reason to fold. With the amount of money in the pot, am I better off jamming the flop, or do I want to risk a bad turn and let him continue with his bluffs? If I call the flop, then do I have to call this turn? Comments on all streets, please.

I'm just shipping pre because you're not going to narrow that range by the flop. Calling is ok too bc he might check flop so as played I'm jamming the flop and getting him to stack with a PP (maybe worse?)rather then have over come on turn and kill action its only $60 more.

also i'm not fully convinced that his sizing has you crushed by any means. Preflop he might be doing the minraise bc he thinks it looks so strong and wants to play in pos with mid PP or suited sexy cards. once he bets the flop then this type of player is definitely capable of bluff shoving blank turn.

If you think that you are not strong enough to play for stacks preflop, why should you then be strong enough postflop? Do you think that this villain would barrell off his stack with AK?

If he would do so, then it should be better to call his min4bet preflop and bluffcatch him for your whole stack when there is no A oder K.

Without any read, I might just get it in preflop vs. this villain.

either stack off on this flop or fold pre

I can read, but I'm not sure how "stack off on flop" was meant. It could mean "I stack off on this flop" or "I stack off because of this flop so I call him down".

I agree that once we get this flop, we're not folding. RSX, why do you prefer jamming flop over calling and calling turn or shoving if checked to? Is it because the pot is already really big and we aren't going to know what to do if an overcard comes on the turn?

Go over the top preflop and make a note if he has a monster.

Avoid the whole situation by folding preflop. You could jam if villain is 4betting light.

If you are unhappy with a TTx flop then god knows what is good enough for you.

A T is not a big part of the villains range preflop so fear of a set is not justification.

Your hand suffers from reverse implied odds so just fold preflop or go all in.

Fold preflop

Same .... Very dependant of what I saw from vilain yet (knowing if he can get out of line) but min raise then half pot bet on flop look like a bigger pair getting value.... From my personnal experience (probably much less then most of you) but villain with those stats tend to ship it pre with ak... So I think is line is mainly bigger pair
