Turn: 8 ($37.50, 2 players)
UTG+1 checks, ?

I ended up betting turn w/ no good reason other than "that's the standard play", but I was also considering a check since wouldn't the only thing he can call me here be KK with a heart, and maybe KhJx if he raises KJo pre, so by checking back we would rep air that bluffraised flop and he can c/c river w/ a wider range than he would have on turn?

and it's not like we will get another street of value from KK w/ heart and KhJx after we bet turn.

is checking turn the best play here or is that fps?

Just bet man, most 1 pr hands are only going to get MORE scared on most rivers.

I don't think you're repping air by checking the turn, you'd bet it with all your bluffs because its so good for your range. By checking you rep a hand thats pot controlling against a flush, like two pair or a set.

I think you have to bet it, villain will still call with quite a few hands that called the flop raise and probably will be more likely to call on the turn then on a lot of rivers.

that card connects with the board pretty hard, there is never a reason to check given how much villain can call with.
