100nl: flopped tripes on a nasty board 100nl: flopped tripes on a nasty board

Villain is 24/17/1.8 over 89 hands

Flop: I decide to c/r here noticing the buttons aggressiveness and try to get it in. SB decides to come along.
Turn: I go with a check here, scared of the possible straight with an A from villain. Should I have b/f here?
River: As played, I felt like the villain was trying to steal the pot with a possible FD...do we call here or not?

i think you gotta call. looks like hes a tag and not many 7s in his range 120bb deep that he would defend in the blinds with. im sure you guys would have both gotten it in flop if it was a set. i think its a easy call, and im sure you would hate yourself to a chop. i dont see why villian would betwith such a small side pot. a raise by you would be pretty funny lol

Imho.
Bet 1/2 pot on turn as their is a flush draw that you still need to price out. Fold to check-raise shove. Fold river pot sized bet donk.

I would probably make the three bet a little bigger on flop. when I first looked at the hand i thought you were oop vs the bigger stack but since you are in pos $15 is not nearly as bad as i thought. but I still think you should make it a little bigger for the SB to come along on the flop.

i think the turn is a definite check with the equity in your hand and being in pos. if you fill up, the wheel/other straights/any flushes will pay off a pretty good sized bet, and they may even bet/call their stack off. I don't like bet folding the turn b/c this equity is too big imo

on the river as played I would also call just b/c it's so unlikely he will have a 7 here
