Okay pretty typical donk, isn't in for full buy-in and limp-raises here.. As played should I just raise/get it in on the flop? Obviously the idea is he has AA so often when he limp-raises that raising just folds out almost everything that we beat, if not everything (I mean of course it's possible but I've never seen people limp/raise A7+ or 77. When he barrels again I just think it's AA often enough compared to the rest of his range that there is little and almost no value to raising? Is this fine? Obviously some people will just say raise/get it in flop he has 3 combo AA only blah blah but I don't know if we are getting much value by raising and he can still barrel his rare bluffs or value-town himself etc? 24/14 over 50 hands or so. I think he was showing a bronze-star too but whatever. His bet sizing seems quite weak and there are draws so that may be a reason to raise.

NL Holdem $1(BB) Replayer
SB ($123)
BB ($91.50)
UTG ($228)
UTG+1 ($93.15)
CO ($104)
Hero ($141)

Dealt to Hero T T

fold, UTG+1 calls $1, fold, Hero raises to $4, fold, fold, UTG+1 raises to $8, Hero calls $4

FLOP ($17.50) 7 T A

UTG+1 bets $6, Hero calls $6

TURN ($29.50) 7 T A 6

UTG+1 bets $12, Hero calls $12

RIVER ($53.50) 7 T A 6 3

UTG+1 bets $30, Hero calls $30

i would just raise flop, the guy is not folding AK/AQ, FD and we're prob not going to get more value from 2nd pair hands by calling

Yeah but in this hand he limp/raised so his range as far as I know generally is a lot more weighted to KK AA hands rather than AK AQ which aren't very commonly limp/raised

Oh sweet Lord raise that flop

It just might be the drawiest board ever

If that's your thinking, you need to move down. Sounds like you're playing scared.

I think OP is trying to make somewhat of a more nuanced point about how a typical limp rr range plays postflop on an Axx board that some of you guys are missing, but I still think flop is definitely a raise

--Villain is pretty terrible
--what he limp re-minraises you with will probably surprise you
--he won't necessarily fold kings to a raise
-- if he's the type who would fold kings to a raise you're probably not going to earn much more against them on later streets
--raising on later streets if you don't raise flop will be awkward and you'll look a lot stronger
--your line doesn't stack AK

so just raise flop

Lol trust me, I am not close to playing scared money.
And yeah what keyser said basically, but yeah raising flop I guess is a must =)

Same with say 77 on AK7 rainbow board?
