100nl confused on the turn against a tag 100nl confused on the turn against a tag

Villan is 20/15 over 100+ hands. I have no history with villan so far and have not seen him get out of line or be crazy aggro post flop. I am wondering about how to play the turn, I feel that against his range here I am way ahead or way behind and therefore betting the turn is not that great because it commits me to the pot and rarely do we get worse hands to call. Thoughts ?

If you're raising the flop, this seems very standard, I mean you'd bet that card with your bluffs as well, so nh.

I would just flat the flop usually I think.

Turn looks alright to me. I also don't think there's anything wrong with checking back the turn and going for value on the river.

this is superstandard imo. you're raising for value so the turn is fine here.

Not seeing any real urgency to raise this flop since you will often get reraised by better hands and fold out many worse hands. Free cards aren't much of an issue on this dry board. I can't really see playing the turn any differently although thinking about it some more the same logic could probably apply as on the flop. He has you crushed or has 2 outs at best and you may get a crying call from KK or JJ on the river if you check back the turn. I think you need to stop the hand on the turn next time since knowing you get CRAI leads to results oriented advice.

this is fine

flatting flop and checking back turn both have their merits
