just won a huge pot on this table where i got it in with overpair vs set and str8flushdraw and sucked out, so mabye my image wasnt the best. villain is on 150 hands 20/15, 9% 3bet blinds but im a relentless stealer in any position, so this is much wider imo. anyway, the board is like perfect for a flop all in, isnt it? normally this is pretty standard for me to get it in, but villain commented after the hand that it is a terrible play, thats why im posting. what do you think?

Fold pre imo.

As is I'd c/r flop.

+1 for fold pre. In fact 4 betting would be better than flatting IMO since you a Q and J blocker and if you do get flatted QJcc doesn't play horrible.

As played I think you played flop fine, nothing else much you can do.

I'd rather CR the flop. He's going to be c-betting with all his air, and when we donk I think our hand looks like pretty much what it is which allows him to play perfectly.
09-28-2010 , 06:56 PM
That's right, I forgot we don't have the initetive pre. Def c/shoving flop.
09-28-2010 , 06:57 PM
c/SHOVE? so if he cbets like 14$ i go all in for 90$? this cant be right?!

Ya I'd definitely rather make it 29-35 depending on his bet size and then ship the turn. I mean, we're pretty happy if he folds at some point, and if we ship the flop he's going to put us on a flush draw all day.

so c/r flop and ship any turn?

do you have a flatting range as villain to a CR of 35?

with these stacks c/r is much better than donking. If he was 3-betting light he's going to c-bet this flop like ALWAYS because he thinks he can rep AK. Let him bet/fold the flop and pick up the extra money. I don't know why you'd ever donk this board with anything when 100bb's deep.

As a side note, between this post and your other post in ssnl right now I think you should study up a bunch and maybe drop down a level or two. You seem to have some flaws in your fundamentals that you should brush up on before playing 100nl+. Not trying to be a dick, just giving you my honest opinion.
09-28-2010 , 07:25 PM
Well I included such big numbers because plenty of 100nl regs c-bet ridiculously large, often 14+ and I can think of some whose standard is 18. I mean, if they make it 18 do you like clicking it back? - or just shoving?

Against someone c-betting 10/11 I guess I'd generally raise to 26-29. My raise sizing isn't my strong point in general I don't think. What do you think?

P.S I doubt many have a flatting range, although towards the fishier end of the reg spectrum it's surely not inconceivable that they'd flat QQ/JJ/1010 and fold to the turn shove. Or is it?

seems awfully nitty to me in this spot with desribed image vs a 9% restealer

Folding pre against this guy is silly. We prob dominate his range a lot more often than vice versa.

Check/raise flop, shove any non pairing turn (if he flats the C/R) seems like a much better line
