Villain is standard meowchow TAG (21/17/3) and we don't have much history iirc. I did 3bet him a couple times this session but he either folded pre or folded to a cbet on the flop.

Full Tilt Poker $0.50/$1 No Limit Hold'em - 6 players
2+2 Hand Converter Powered By DeucesCracked

BB: $17.50
UTG: $175.65
MP: $100.00
CO: $130.25
Hero (BTN): $131.80
SB: $187.70

Pre Flop: Hero is BTN with 5 5
2 folds, CO raises to $3.50, Hero calls $3.50, 2 folds

Flop: ($8.50) 9 T 6 (2 players)
CO checks, Hero bets $6, CO calls $6

Turn: ($20.50) 7 (2 players)
CO checks, Hero bets $16, CO calls $16

River: ($52.50) Q (2 players)
CO checks, Hero???

check. He called the turn, which completes some straight draws, the river completes all straight and flush draws, you beat nothing, and i doubt your mooving him of any TP hand he has called you with up until this point.

His range pf is all pps obv, bunch of scs. This flop/turn hits this range hard. So hard.

But doesn't it hit my perceived range harder?

I check behind and lose. If he's calling the turn, he's calling the river. You have to have a straight+ or air to bet the turn/river, and if villain decided on the turn that you have air, I expect him to stick with that read on the end.

In practice I don't think this is true at all.

OP I'd like a (big) bluff here except somehow him c/c-ing the 4-straight turn makes me a bit worried. I think the 7 hits quite a lot of the hands he c/c-s that flop with. Might still be good though. Maybe overbet shove?? I'd be very surprised if he had better than 8x here.

You have $25 in the pot with a CO who has 9 or 10 with your pr of 5's Why? CO often put a raise in with 2 cards in the 9-Q range to take down the blinds. or k-8 thru k-j You fell in love with 5's and did not consider the postion of the bettor.

I obviously am not "falling in love" with my pair here. This line is intended as a bluff, not for value.

Yeah, based on your range I bet like 3/4 to pot depending on your frequencies as I think he fold most everything besides sets and better

i think a flushdraws is a very likely hand for him and a straight as well. he will pbb fold his pairs but you are not sure of that and 2pair is likely on this board too

i dont think id even bet turn
ugly ugly board

def shove the river, he's got like 76 a ton, I prob would not have bet the turn in the first place, but he folds such a huge % to a river jam here it's like printing money.

I think this is like the perfect spot to jam it in on the river. I think betting turn is bad unless you're gonna ship it in on this river
