Villain is 32/18 over 130. I didn't have a great read on him other than he seemed bad-aggressive. I like to check back the flop here in position and call one street UI. OOP, I prefer betting and check/folding most turns. Who's for checking the flop? And, does anyone barrel turn?

betting the flop just about commits you to betting the turn if called. so its more like, c/f or bet bet

I def barrel here against most players, people have <JJ or floats or w/e so often

I think c/f the flop is fine, but if you bet flop, bet turn.

hero checks flop

If I check flop vs this villain, is it to check/fold? It seems like we're going to be ahead of his betting range when we check the flop, so can we check/call one street?

ya check fold.

ya sometimes you are. but playing this hand oop by checking the flop is -ev. any competent opponent will just barrel you small on the turn with both made hands and bluffs.
