Setup - Villain is relatively new to table. Took down his first hand with no showdown, but played it standard...nothing stood out and no tricks. No reads. Table is deep and even in stacks for the most part. My image is pretty tight/aggressive.

UTG folds
Hero ($120) is dealt 10

and calls $1
CO calls $1
Villain ($122) calls $1
SB folds
BB checks
Was limping an okay play here?

Flop ($4.50) - J

Check all around
Was checking my 10's/Gutshot OOP smart?

Turn ($4.50) - J

Hero bets $3, CO folds, Villain calls, BB folds

River ($10.50) - J

Hero bets $5, Villain raises to $20, Hero ?
What's my play?

pre flop limping is fair if u have a lag game going on. as played i like a fold on the river really, only an idiot bluffs here, i put him on A6 of clubs

lol @ folding river. It's more a question of whether to 3-bet or to just call. Oh and preflop isn't good.

I hate the open limp.

Flop/turn is ok as played imo. I call river.

is this a live game or something? Open limping is not good, checking the flop is fine and betting the turn is fine.
I wouldn't comtemplate folding here, but wouldn't raise. call is fine.
Don't open limp!!

Yea, open limping with that hand and tag image is horrible. Flop and turn is okay. I think you could bet the flop, but really depends on how you want to play it later. As for river, you definitely need to at least call this. Also, I think you can bet a little more on river for value.

I fold this pf as a default, but raise if you want to play.

Apart from pf I like your play. On the river his range is quite wide still since you didn't raise pf - I don't think he will do this with worse flush enough to make a raise +ev.

I call river.
