100: why is he check-raising? 100: why is he check-raising?

Villain is on the laggier side of tag, 24/20/5.4 with a 74% cbet, so it is strange he doesn't cbet this flop. He has checkraised 3 times out of 7 chances (43%) though I can't remember in what scenarios or if he was the pfr as he is here. Why is he doing it? Should I float becuase the line is so strange?

No, even if he IS bluffing he's probably going to fire another bullet here on the turn and you can't call that.

he is checkraising because you bet any two cards once he checks to you

its an easy flop to chk raise. Just check behind...and my god fold if he raises you.

I think it seems he just likes to checkraise. He probably missed, but I wouldn't want to float since as said previously, he will be barreling the turn a lot. I'd prefer a 3bet to a float. But better than 3betting would be to check behind the flop with a hand that has showdown value against someone who has checkraised his previous 3 opportunities out of 7.

Your only option really is to fold now or else your going to get owned on the turn if he has or hand or doesnt.
