OK so this hand's interesting. villain was a 38/4 agro donk. A couple hands earlier he bet pot size bets on all 3 streets with TP weak kick. For this hand, I Think I would have folded to anyone else when he reraised turn. I might have even folded to him but didn't really think about it I was too sure he most likely had a weak kick again that missed. I think mb I shoulda just check/called turn and river.

I don't know about the weakish flop bet, makes your hand kinda transparent idk...
Turn is standard as if he's aggro is probably stacking off with any A...

Your flop bet is too small, I'd certainly go for a bet bet all-in line here as no donk ever folds trip A's. What's up with the c/minraise on turn? If he's got like JdTd or some other draw, that is just giving him sick odds, not to mention the opportunity to check behind weaker hands. We're obviously never folding once he shoves turn.

raise pot pf/more on the flop.
cant see how can you avoid putting your stack in the middle on the turn.

unless you lead flop purposely as a donk for previous history reasons.. bet more here, and dont hate on yourself cause he has a boat. although this guy proabbly wouldnt have been pushing here without it(maybe not) he definetly woulda called for all his money with the trips, theres so many other ace rags that you cant be mad about this one

Bet like a man on the flop, $14-$16 would be fine. I don't think I'm able to fold this hand to almost any opponent. once I see this flop. Check/calling is sooo bad. C/r turn and b/3-bet are both fine against this Villain. Get it in and be happy about it.
PS Don't post results

K so you guys are all saying bet more on the flop. Here's why I bet $7 into an $18 pot-

-if someone had a gutshot i didn't mind giving them the chance to draw on flop
-the donk might have reraised the weak bet

normally i bet at least 2/3 of pot for cbets. There might be better reasons to bet the 2/3 I just wasn't thinking of them at the time.

donk bets arent bad but you need history for them to effective..

i don't mind occasionally donking a reg with something and see how he reacts.. ive seen people get it all in on the flop with some junk after donk bets.

but seeing as this guy plays probably every ace rag in the book you can just bet big and hope that hes holding some onto that ace or a jack.

Thanks that helps a lot. Good point, I didn't have all that many hands on this guy.

If you bet smaller it's MUCH harder to build a big pot. This guy is not folding an ace or a jack here and he's likely to raise your big bet with air too, but it will cost him much more money.
If he wasn't agro monkey, I would still bet bigger because he's likely to fold if he doesn't have an ace and he's not going anywhere with an ace

i like betting $15 and getting it in anywhere you can.

True. I think a bigger bet here is almost always better, and in this case, definitely.
