100 NL 6max: 4-betting with AQ blind vs blind 100 NL 6max: 4-betting with AQ blind vs blind

your 4bet size is awful... it would be correct to call here with almost any 2 cards.

wow this is a 3 bet ffs...

If u 4bet AQ it's some always some kind of semibluff, u want to him to shove light/spazz out, so you can comfortable call a shove. I'd never 4bet AQ deep ( against non-maniacs).

To make this move profitable it's important to have an agressive image, you should 3bet and 4bet your oppentents v light, so they expect you bluffing in this situation.

If you make it 36$ pre, you're commited with ATC so, so it's v bad for him to shove light. Just make it 28-29$.

If villian doesn't 3bet light this sucks, but against an agressive reg it's my standardline.

No it isn't.

BB/raise/3bet/4bet/5bet shove...

need to see 3bet and 4bet stats but nowadays this is a snapcall...especially bc you 4bet bigger.

anyways against a solid and aggro reg im just 4betting to ~$26 and calling a shove. i see really air sometimes or KJ KQ 89s T8s hands.

Anyone else tempted to 4bet shove and force BB to the decision here?
If we're 4bet/calling, why not?

To balance your 4betting range. It's actually good to let everyone at the table see that you will 4bet and call a shove with AQs, even if it's bvb. Gives them something to think about when you 4bet light.

Don't 4-bet for value and then fold to a shove when you're 100 bb's deep, I mean you say it's for value, but is he gonna just call a 4-bet? Uh on. He's gonna shove or fold when faced with a 4-bet, so I don't really understand what you're saying. If you're 4-betting pf with this hand then don't fold to a shove.

OP provide villains 3bet%/4bet range% this IS player dependant. Your 4bet is too big in any case

You need to balance your range. We want villain to shove over our 4bet with worse. We shove and he folds Ax

ya it is.

action is:

bet
raise
three bet
4 bet shove

its called a 3 bet because its the third bet also known in the shorthand flop, turn or river line b/3b, which means hero leads, is raised, then reraises.

lurkling- You're wrong. The first bet preflop is considered the posting of the blinds.

Post it in the beginner's forum if you really want to argue your point and maybe they will explain it better.
