100 NL 6max: 3-betting from Blind with 87 100 NL 6max: 3-betting from Blind with 87

Villain is 15/14/4 over 100 hand sample with 32 Att to Steal.

I was playing 23/22/5 over 100 hans with 40 att to steal.

Villain has previously raised my blind atleast 3-4 times and I folded each time.

What do you think of this 3-bet?

I thought my flop c-bet was mandatory. Is double-barrelling here a good option?

A 15/14 doesn't have a very splashy range from the CO, so I'm not sure I 3bet him light ever.

As played, I definitely fire the flop with my weak TP.
Not sure if I double barrel, but it's not a bad place for it at all.

I think it is fine. Double-barreling is a little spewy imo if you don't know more about the person. You still have some showdown value against 44/66/77 if they want to check it down. If you think he is able to float in rr pots I think a barrel can be okay because check/calling turn is imposible, and you might even get him of better hands like 99/TT.

I dont mind preflop, because he will fold a ton!

As played I am check/folding the flop. We got a weak hand, he wont fold out better and he wont call with worse on the flop. I am trying to spike another 8 or a 9.
Since he called preflop I am putting him on a strong range JJ+, AQs. The former wont fold, the latter wont call.

Can we turn our hand in a semi bluff with this K ? Sometimes I'd like to bet fold turn here ... A nit can fold 77-TT here.

i think the stack sizes are deep enough that you can double barrel the turn and put a ton of pressure on him with his 99-QQ

I think he folds AK/AQ/KQ to my flop c-bet.

So, on the turn, his most likely range is: 88 - JJ (I think he 4-bets QQ-AA pre flop.)

so, given that he is pretty much turning his hand face up....I thought the K was a great card for me to rep...as I could easily have AK in this spot. Plus, he pretty much has to fold 88 - JJ in this spot.

Oh well, I couldn't pull the trigger at the time....but thought I'd see if this double barrel would be spewy or good.

Villain showed 10,10 to win.

Definately fire the turn here. He should never have a K unless it's KK, so it's a great card to put pressure on his medium pairs.

i like it

but would rather do it with 87 suited

The K is probably the best double barrel card in the deck but against basically an unknown I think it's pretty spewy double barrelling or even cbing this flop imo. There's really no hand's in his range that he calls the 3bet with and folds on that flop too, so c/f flop imo as played c/f turn.

I don't think if this type would float the flop with AK/KQ, so I think the turn card is a pretty good to double barrel on in this spot.

Bet flop is good.

That's the perfect turn card to barrel.

I'm just getting into 2barrelling. Is the K a good card cause its a scare card falling in our preflop 3betting range?
