Villain 66/18 3bet 0 cant see his WTSD but i assume it's higher then average

Is it standard or i should check behind river? If the bet is mandatory what about the size here?

    Thanks

i think you can get away with betting 45 here
    03-30-2012 , 10:47 PM
did u realise the river is 4 to straight?
    03-31-2012 , 03:27 AM
    yes
    03-31-2012 , 06:56 AM
It completes à gutshot, which most donks will lead otr anyway. You can bet at least 2x what you did. À river club would be à LOT worse to get value from imo.

not really sure there's too much he has he can call with that ur ahead of so ur sizing is fine

U think he can call 45 with 7x?

I'm sure he is calling 20, but 45 i doubt....
    03-31-2012 , 11:21 AM
hm I dunno seems a bit too thin.
    03-31-2012 , 11:21 AM
i expect his range to be a pair (6/4/4) with a club. if he had a straight or made flush himself he would bet river, so a smallish bet on river should ensure a call from his side. i like the play.
    03-31-2012 , 03:13 PM
Dont think you are ever getting anything worse to call. Are you calling if your small bet induces a bluff c/r on riv?
    03-31-2012 , 04:46 PM
He is a calling station, so NO
    03-31-2012 , 04:53 PM
Yes he is a calling station but put him on a range of hands and remember that with your bet 50% of his calling range has to be worse then your hand. Seems a bit thin, also you don't want to go too low if he is agro because he could just bluff raise you off the best hand. I make it $35.

Fkn grey area.. even monies mete.
    04-01-2012 , 04:11 PM
$40 and value town any queen that he isn't folding
    04-01-2012 , 04:32 PM
    try 35 next time
    04-01-2012 , 05:20 PM
    I like it
    04-01-2012 , 05:24 PM
I would raise more on the turn (35-45), and not bet river, because even to a donk your sizing is so opaque.
    04-06-2012 , 07:36 AM
If i'm raising ott (btw why so small?), i'm Most likely checking this river, cause even to a fish this line will appear superstrong and he will just fold the pair+fd he chased ott. He has a decent amount of fives(oesd ott) in his range and obv can wake up w all sorts of hands that beat u, don't think u have required 50% + u Open urself to get bluffed
    04-06-2012 , 07:55 AM
raise bigger pre, bet bigger river
    04-06-2012 , 10:12 AM
make it 40$ on the turn, 1/2pot river or even a little more.
    04-06-2012 , 01:33 PM
bet even smaller/call off the induced raise

    or check
    04-06-2012 , 04:14 PM
There's way too many hands that beat you here. You're not getting him off any hands since his VPIP is pretty high. He was either slow playing the flush on the flop in early position, which didn't work out for him on the flop. He then decided to bet for value. With his VPIP you can't find a fold here. His check on the river is a gift. If you bet, he can shove putting you to a disgusting decision which is almost always gonna cost you money, but if you check behind, you have a good chance to win the showdown if he missed a 4 card flush. I would not bet here unless you are POSITIVE, he's just got air.

This is pretty thin imo. The BB can have a lot of hands here that beat you and he probably wont pay you off with worse too often since you look pretty strong.

If i'm betting i quite like a small bet like you did but i think half the people in this thread that advocate betting the river actually check back if they were playing the hand.

If villain is loose passive I like bet/fold river. Loose passive fish don't check raise bluff the river often and you will get value fRom QX with a club.
