I am messing around trying to understand this game better and not whining about losing etc.. my question is reads...I am finding I am coming out on the losing end over and over and over when I assume I am way ahead. Need some advice if I should just pack it in and stay the NL course or keep grinding cause this game is fun yet so soul crushing all at the same time lol In this hand I have the 99 blockers I think and he would have to have only this hand to win...am I way behind here or is this just bad luck on the river.

I tried converting the hand history but doesn't seem to want to work so I apologize in advance.

Bet bigger pre and on every street. You have the nuts on flop and turn, so you should be trying to get value from your hand and charging hands like the exact one villain has here. By betting so small you're actually giving him the right price to call the whole way down.

There are fewer combos of T9 he can have with your 9 blockers but I can't see any other hand which plays like this. Sets and lower straights would call/fold river. Your blockers only count when there's a number of hands he can make this move with, including bluffs - considering he's put $1 in the pot before the river, he's unlikely to risk ~60% of his remaining stack on a bluff and he's probably never betting anything worse for value.

Don't give up if you enjoy playing the game. You can't expect to start playing and crush the game immediately; you just need to put some work into your game. Also, when you get jammed on OTR at microstakes PLO your opponent is likely to have the nuts.

No bother at all, boss. Just cut me a lil off the top when you bink the milly

But seriously, put the work in and post hands on here when you're not sure about certain spots. You'll be able to turn your game around pretty quick.

I advise against buying in for 40 at plo25 unless its super prime time Friday night world cup final just finished

river is trivial due to your sizing throughout the hand, flip a coin

Just a cooler man don't get too stressed. Guy generally has what he's representing on the river, haven't checked pool statistics but based on other stats can assume a range heavily weighted toward nuts.

How can you check pool statistics to figuere out how often "they"have "it" on the river in this spot?

You played it good, although maybe you can find a river fold, since his play is so consistent with T9. What could he be possibly bluffing with on the river, would he make this play with a set trying to fold out 69? Highly unlikely. There aren't really other hands that missed that could try to bluff raise the river, and bluff raising is pretty rare in the first place. I like your sizing throughout.

Create a pool Alias from your DB, isolate villian reraise IP on river. Wild guess I'd say 90%+ time you're ****ed in this spot.
