What is my next tier of raising? What is my next tier of raising?

*EDIT* I'm talking Preflop raising here

I've run approximately 26/10 over about 60k hands in .10/.25 and .25/.50 6-max PLO.

My open ended question is, what hands do I raise with next? I read Hwangs book and I feel confident that I have a good handle of what top-tier hands are.

I'm currently raising around 70% of buttons and have become pretty comfortable in position, but I usually only complete or fold SB and BB unless its 3-bet strong and I'm on good looking AAxx or a sick doublesuited run or something. I would say I'm generally pretty weak OOP, because I don't like getting it in against people who C-bet huge amounts of their range OOP when I have top pair or weak fd + gutshot or something.

My guess right now is that these are the next tier hands I should raise (from both mid and late position), but all input is appreciatied

KKxx (xxyy)
doublepairs (xxyy to wxyz)
QT98 (xxyz)
AKJT (unsuited)
7789 (xxyz)
9765 (xxyy)
T765 (xxyy)

Here are hands that I'm a lot less sure about

3445
J876
7643
7743
J997
KJTT
XX22 - XX99
A567 (wxyz ie; the A is NOT suited with any of the run)
2345
A234
AAAX

Any advice or opinions about hands in either the "better" pile or the "questionable" pile would be greatly appreciated. To me I much prefer to make these hands limping and then hitting flops hard and 1/8 times or so somehow getting it in over being OOP with any of these hands.

Also, can anyone give me some advice about cut-off play. Can I play the cut-off like I'm on the button if the button is tight? What do I do if the button is playing like 60/24 or even some of these ridiculous 82/10's I've seen around .25/.50?

Thanks for reading this far if you made it!

It seems to me that some of your questionable pile is garbage that you'd be better off folding, especially out of position. Things like 3445, A234, A567, xx22-xx99 and AAAx are very hard to hit a flop with, and quite often when you do hit, you make second best hands. There's a world of difference between 89TJ and 2345. One makes nut straights, the other makes baby straights, and the only time you get tons of money in is when you're beat.

But I'm new to PLO, so I could be wrong.

I don't really like anything in the questionable pile.

One thing I'd say is I certainly don't feel you 'have' to add any hands. You can definitely crush these games playing 26% of hands, and there's nothing really wrong with playing that way imo. I like playing very tight pf from the blinds too. Makes life easier, and at these levels I'm not too concerned with squeezing out as much value as possible. No real need to play high variance.

I muck pretty much all of your next tier hands UTG usually except good double pairs and the 7789 type hands which I'm always opening from anywhere if I've got a suit only down to about 6678. Not really sure about KKxx hands. I usually just muck if I'm playing table that are aggressive pf. Otherwise I usually come in, because players in these games often stack off really light. Once I get to the CO I'm opening any KKxx.
