*EDIT* I'm talking Preflop raising here
I've run approximately 26/10 over about 60k hands in .10/.25 and .25/.50 6-max PLO.
My open ended question is, what hands do I raise with next? I read Hwangs book and I feel confident that I have a good handle of what top-tier hands are.
I'm currently raising around 70% of buttons and have become pretty comfortable in position, but I usually only complete or fold SB and BB unless its 3-bet strong and I'm on good looking AAxx or a sick doublesuited run or something. I would say I'm generally pretty weak OOP, because I don't like getting it in against people who C-bet huge amounts of their range OOP when I have top pair or weak fd + gutshot or something.
My guess right now is that these are the next tier hands I should raise (from both mid and late position), but all input is appreciatied
KKxx (xxyy)
doublepairs (xxyy to wxyz)
QT98 (xxyz)
AKJT (unsuited)
7789 (xxyz)
9765 (xxyy)
T765 (xxyy)
Here are hands that I'm a lot less sure about
3445
J876
7643
7743
J997
KJTT
XX22 - XX99
A567 (wxyz ie; the A is NOT suited with any of the run)
2345
A234
AAAX
Any advice or opinions about hands in either the "better" pile or the "questionable" pile would be greatly appreciated. To me I much prefer to make these hands limping and then hitting flops hard and 1/8 times or so somehow getting it in over being OOP with any of these hands.
Also, can anyone give me some advice about cut-off play. Can I play the cut-off like I'm on the button if the button is tight? What do I do if the button is playing like 60/24 or even some of these ridiculous 82/10's I've seen around .25/.50?
Thanks for reading this far if you made it!
