Does the T blocker in the second sim make that much difference?
Definitely not.
If you replace the Ts in the second sim with a total blank but keep the ten dead anyway, this is what you end up with.
Hand | Pot equity | Wins | Ties |
---|
kdQh7h9d | 64.23% | 501 | 0 |
Qs2s5sQd | 35.77% | 279 | 0 |
The ten gives the second hand a gutshot, which also coincides with king outs; that's its chief value.
Furthermore, your first sim is ****ed up. When you don't specify suits, PPT interprets them as a random distribution of all suits, meaning that Kd7dQ9 ends up being a flush some % of the time on the AdJd7[random suit] board! When you specify the suits in a comparable way to the second sim, this is what you end up with:
Hand | Pot equity | Wins | Ties |
---|
kdQh7h9d | 47.93% | 393 | 0 |
AsJs2c3s | 52.07% | 427 | 0 |
