Anyone have good airline recommendations from states to Munich?
Have only ever taken Lufthansa to Germany, but open to suggestions.

might become an issue. if not, the idea of having one widly dominant market player is not really attractive for players' hopes of more cost-efficient poker games. hopefully this is not true and stars takes a hit on the short-term profits and realizes long-term potential of the entire business. we'll see.

lufthansa is the stone cold nuts for european flights in every regard

I can't imagine it's even close to an anti-trust issue w/ all the other available options (party, ongame network, ipoker network, ent network, etc.) I guess if just going on scale they could face some heat though since the combined player pool will dwarf the other sites. But I still wouldn't expect an issue with it at all just b/c of the sheer amt of other sites, with party and cpl others being fairly large.

has more to do with size of the two firms compared to scope of industry, there are some industry std calculations

with ryanair/airberlin you can fly a lot cheaper, but not to the main airports and other conditions are much worse.

a great weekend trip is to fly with ryanair to pisa, stay there one day and take the train to florence for a day or two. flight cost us 30 eur per person and the 1hr train ride is 5-10 eur. food was really amazing as well as florence as a city. highly recommend

Was the ultimate third wheel last night (I hadn't been third wheel in a while before this). I meet my buddy D and this chick (i've never met her before) for some drinks. We hang out for a few hours, having a good time all around (not third wheel here, all the convo is pretty even). Earlier I had told D I would go home on a different train that would take a couple more minutes but would have us on the same train for most of the ride. When I'm in the bathroom he ends up convincing said chick to go home with him, and then somehow convinces me (I was tired/drunk and not in the mood to disagree I guess) to walk with them 2 back to her house (about 10 minutes) while she gets her stuff for work the next morning and then take the train half the way with them before transferring towards my apartment. Ended up adding about half an hour to my journey home and for no discernible reason. I'll ask him about why tomorrow.

Spoiler:
Unless you are leveling or saying it's sad cause it will only encourage this guy's gambling problem, to say this does this mean that you're the type that roots for the cars to crash when watching pro car racing or sthing? And not only that, do you root for the wrecked car drivers to burn to death as spectacle?

Cool thread tho, thx for link tres

Guy loses ~3.5k in 4 huge buyin hyper turbos in a manic gambling binge and posts completely distraught and ranting about how stupid and degen and unlucky he is. He then proceeds to ship an 11 dollar tourney that same day (next day?) for ~9k

WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE, 2p2 is back.

The crash made the SSPLO meet a bit harder, but we still managed to do it, and I had a lot of fun.
