A pretty broad topic that depends on a lot of things.

Given that ssplo on every room/skin is full of fish. Would be interesting to hear people's thoughts on their value bet sizing.

Do you pot?
Do you bet 3/4 pot?
How do you change (if at all) value bet sizing depending on the:
- villain
- board texture
- relative position
- SPR
- multiway vs. HU
- etc.....

Fire away!

Just some quick thoughts that come to mind: (Mostly stuff that is commonly known)

# Players in pot
In multiway pots, one should valuebet bigger to protect his current hand from being outdrawn by multiple opponents. Hero is not supposed to give them correct price to call by valuebetting too small.

In HU pots it's easier to estimate what kind of odds the villain has with his estimated range and then hero can either
1. Valuebet bigger
- To protect
- If hero thinks he'll get a call from 2nd nuts or another good hand

or to 2. valuebet smaller
- still not giving the correct odds to call but also to get value from villain on a later street(s), presumably river

Against calling-station type of fish hero needs to valuebet bigger, because it's likely they are going to call anyway. Against more competitive opponents varying betsizes is preferred to gain deception.
