Hi all,

Should two players with the current nuts ott “collude” and pot/repot to force out the draws or should they flat in case someone has a nuts plus redraw? I guess this comes up most often when two players have the nut straight and one has top set.

Thanks,
DT

just make sure not to get freerolled. pair blockers to the board are also very useful/insightful in these situations. you should also consider SPR on flop and turn depending on your action.

4 or 5 card? SPR? Backdoors? All these things matter a lot. In general I'd rather let the 3rd guy in as opposed to getting in stacks hoping for half

E.g., KQQ57ddhh on J346sscc bets OOP, facing a re-pot and a call from BTN. After raise Spr is .75.

Ex.2: AT no redraw OOP facing bet and call on KQ4Jdd. Spr 4.

First is whatever given SPR...get it in and hope to hold vs. P3s equity

2nd one I would be worried about getting freerolled more obv due to the lack of redraw and the stack depths. As someone pointed out above...blockers are important both pair and flush.

Position also critical.

It's really hard to give you a catch all answer here.

Both of these look like calls to me - the advantage of knocking out the set/draw is far outweighed by us getting freerolled, especially in 5 card.
