Preflop probably gets me in trouble here. I only have a about 100 hands with villian but he is playing 35/12 and aggro post flop. What should I do on this turn??

I would push the turn. His linke makes zero sense and I think you are good here fairly often. Also, you still have the open ender. River is very strange but I think the fold is good(Even though it still does not make sense although at least 789 got there so it does make more sense than before)

I don't think preflop is a big deal with this hand.

And I disagree that his line makes zero sense. JTxx seems appropriate here, in addition to other Jxxx that turned a two pair to go with their flop draw. I don't think jamming the turn is a bad move since you have an OESD plus redraws to better two pairs. He can also show up with other draws.

After he leads the turn like this you have to expect him to be jamming the river often enough that we can't call, which is why I prefer the turn shove when we still have good equity.

I think you either have to shove the turn or fold it. Calling sucks. He can't think that the Jack worries you in any way but he is still betting. If he is just mindlessly aggressive postflop then push but against most opponents I probably fold this. It looks like a badly played set or some sort of combo draw getting frisky. If you think he is capable of doing this with a draw a large percentage of the time then its a push. Maybe someone can do the maths but the fact you have an open-ender means he doesn't have to be bluffing all that often to make this profitable.

I don't see why we are raising the flop and building a pot with a mediocre hand.
Are we raising the flop just because villain is aggro over a smallish sample and he
only bet half pot?

Is this a different game at higher stakes?

Not critizing op, but can someone explain?

MP only started the hand with 83 dollars. I was happy to get it in against him.
