You got naked top 2, even vs A+a couple over and a flush draw you're not really ahead by much. The only hands that gii vs you here are either crushing you or have at least like 40%... Not an ideal situation.

I think this is a really easy flop call, even vs these maniacs. You could wait for a safe turn, or see how villain reacts on later streets.

Generally, I am careful with my top 2 against decent players and just call flop. But against a maniac and a fishy caller who will generally drawing when just call, I tried the aggresive way.

That was my though in the moment, but I am hesitating between it and what you posted
