This has been bugging me... how big does the pot have to be preflop in relation to the stacks for getting it in with the nut flush draw in a heads up pot to be +EV? What about on the turn? Sorry for this being so simple I need help with this. Assume a normal .25/.50 omaha player

Id say <4:1 definately depending on how much fold equity you think you have on a given board.

If you are just counting a nutflush draw, then its the same odds as holdem when chasing a flush.

Preflop, you'd need a little less than 4:1 odds
flop and turn use the rule of 4 and 2, count your outs needed based on board texture.

In general, soley chasing the nut flush draw in omaha is a losing proposition. You really need the other cards to have a relationship with each other.

Don't be chasing big bets with A222 bulls.hit just because you got a nut flush draw.

harris i think he is asking WRT fold equity and unexploitablility rather than just direct odds.

I just get in trouble when i flop a flush draw in a 3 bet pot ... i don't always have 100BBs so i was wondering how small my stack has to be to get it in

Depends on your side cards, position, the read of specific villain as well, each situation is unique. If I think villain has a set I am less likely to get it in, for example, especially without useful side cards. If I think villain might fold I will raise/re-raise. Etc.

3 ways all in on flop the NFD does well, HU its not worth chasing the bare fd, if you have some str8 potential too its fine. When there is just one pot bet left on the flop the NFD is a nobrainer shove+ you have fold equity.
