It turned out that MG PLO€4 rake is only 10% higher than PS PLO€2 and 10% lower than PS PLO5 because the PS caps are hit seldom (if the pot is 357+ bb) but the MG cap is hit 28% of the time overall and 59% of those times when I VPIP.

Taking into account that MG offers reloads worth 20% in RB on a regular basis (with an ability to rotate skins) in addition to the 30% VIP and also sometimes easy rake races, I believe it's far better than PS for nanostakes rakewise. Myth busted. I'll post a full report in the Internet Poker rake petition thread after I sleep and grind a bit, and everyone else is also encouraged to do analogous calculations on their bigger samples, preferably nanostake.
Hey...

What kind of traffic do you have on Microgaming in nanostakes PLO2/4?

Im looking to start playing omaha, but i have reading that in nano rakes kill simply your winrate. I have a deal with Microgaming with 30% rakeback and a a deposit bonus to clear.

Best to just open client imo. Can see how many, normal/short/cap/bbj tables etc that there are. Can click through the tables quickly to see if theres only 4-5 tables if they're the same 4-5 people on all of them, stack sizes, etc. Couldn't ever rely on the pokerscout sites imo

You can't even get the whole picture by opening the client one time, as PLO traffic is quite volatile on smallish networks - it depends heavily not only on the day of the week and the time, but also on the presence of masstabling regs: each 6-tabling reg adds 1 table, which alone is a significant boost outside of Stars.

Speaking of Microgaming, that's the exact reason why PLO2-10 is less populated than PLO20 and especially 40-50: there are no 10-tablers at the nanos, while at 40-50 there's one notorious 10-tabler and a bunch of 4-6-tablers including yours truly.

Hi folks, new poster in this forum, I'm normally a limit holdem player, but I've started playing some microstakes PLO games online. I don't have HEM or PT right now; is there another converter to import hand histories? I'm playing on the Winning Poker Network FWIW. Just thought I'd ask before I manually type up the hand to ask questions.

Do you have the raw HH? If so, 'go advanced' press hand converter and copy it in.

What is the "optimal" aggression factor for playing a TAGish style? Stakes are 25 and 50PLO.

Just got my Deal Me In bonus on FTP since I had an active Iron Man bonus when they relaunched. It's at $750 and I only have 21 days to clear it. I'm unemployed so I can in theory spend all day at this if need be.

Problem is, my roll right now is around $500 and I'm playing PLO10. I'd really really like to clear it all but that would mean that I'd have to get 18750 points in 21 days. I'm playing four tables.

Is this even possible? Roughly 900 or so points per day. I played an hour and checked my points and it seemed that I got 80 per hour, but that's very dependent on how big pots I end up being involved in.

Also, I have like 80k points that I can buy cash bonuses with, but will these be clear-able when I have an active Deal Me In bonus or should I wait with these until afterwards?

Can u manage 8 tables? Or 4 rush tables? Try it for a day, maybe tighten up slightly. U could also try PLO25. The bonus might justify playing a more aggro brm

I don't think I can manage 8, maybe 6. Haven't thought about rush but it sounds like an option. I considered taking a shot at PLO25 with maybe 4 or so buyins, but as I'm jobless I can't really reload if things go bad, so I might not be up for it.

Ah, prob better to play a couple 4-hour sessions daily 6-tabling at PLO10. Def give rush a shot though, but 4-tabling will require a good amount of routine

gl!

What kind of stats are important to look at in omaha ? Especially opponents stats. Wich ones do have a lot of influence in your decision ?
I never look at stats except very standard ones (VPIP/PFR/3Bet/Agg). I know some players use AF by street/WTSD or other stats a ton, and they seem to base a lot of decision upon it. What about you ? Do you know a thread/site that explain stats meaning/use ?

what stakes do you play? I'm probably overdoing it but except for giving PFR by position a huge importance I use a lot of different postflop stats like Cbet flop/turn, c/r flop, fold cbet to raise etc. Still I do believe that cutting these stats out a bit would help me improve my game and not be to robotic :P

I don't actually use stats so my input might not be ideal, but I would say that 3-bet and 4-bet percentages would be very useful. If there 3 bet and 4 bet percentage is very low you can generally assume their hand is AAxx and play accordingly.

Hi Guys,

I have PT4 and just wanted a view on how you review your play.

Do you just pick out the hands you lost big pots on? look at spots on the river you could of bet and took down the pot? look at winning hands and how you could of possibly won more etc?

Is there any particular process you always follow when reviewing your play?

Also like to know how long your spend reviewing your play for how many hours you actually play

Cheers
