Think your gold and platinumstar(and maybe rest?) are too low, are you counting VPP Stellar rewards in?

Actually not sure where I got that info from... I'm assuming from the pokerstars site. Anyways, I just copied what I wrote in my notes on my phone

edit: oh and I play on pokerstars.be which I think has different rakeback percentages now that I think of it.

Anyone who has played PLO25 on WPN, how tough are the games? Thinking about playing more PLO but the rake is pretty brutal on Bovada. Games are soft though. Not sure if it's worth to play on WPN even with the bonus + rakeback incentives.

Regular tables allow to get reads quicker on players you're not familiar with. You get to see more showdowns and you're also more focused on your opponents because they stay at the same seat. Usually they are a bit softer than the zoom tables.

The downside is obviously less hands per table. If you're playing 3 tables of zoom you need something like 8-9 regular tables to get the same number of hands. There's also energy involved in in table-selecting and in constantly evaluating your tables - a good table can turn into a bad table as players come and leave.

Another difference is that in regular tables you can't change your stack size all the time. If you won a couple of stacks, you have to play deep stacked or leave your seat.

For beginners I recommend playing regular tables and slowly familiarizing yourself with zoom as you move up. Good luck

So should I go with pokertracker omaha or omaha manager 2? Tried the PT trial was happy with it. My trial for omaha manager seems to have expired years ago so didn't get the chance to try it. Any of the software have an edge right now cause they both cost the same it seems. Do they have any good deals with any of the training sites or somethinb similiar for the small stakes version?

rake for any SSPLO player has to be a significant concern, as much as zoom is more convenient its so many bbs

as to what info is out there, post hands get involved in study groups, befriend fellow players work on your game with tools available to you... there is a wealth of resources out there even if u cant afford a runitonce sub

If you steal 3x from BTN with QT75ss and SB 3bets(44/22 with 15% 3bet) do you fold it?

I don't think I fold anything but Axxx with some danglers and some weaker paired hands.

I'd be looking at his cbet and postflop aggression stats here.

Looking at just these stats he seem a bit on the aggro side but you have position and a loosely connected hand so a call is cool mostly.

Edit: this is on the assumption you're 100bb deep

After some advice.

At the uStakes the 3bet ranges for recreational players/phone players is almost defined as AAxx, KKxx, QQxx.

I am wondering what hands I should be flatting with IP and OOP if it makes a difference (I imagine it will). Considering you only flop 2 pair like 10% of the time I am guessing double suited run downs 8---/9--- or below. I am new to the game and learning with getting volume in so any help too improve my game is greatly appreciated.

Hi there,

I'm struggling at PLO10 at Stars and I'm thinking about moving to another poker room. Where could I get the best rakeback bonuses and I could play 6-9 tables?

You can fold most of the weaker Axxx hands. I also fold most pair hands if they are not well connected too. So I fold like AT74ss and such, I will also fold like JJT3ss from BTN vs blinds.

Raise/gii that flop! Top 2 + OESD + flush draw = the nuts. Doesn't matter what villain has you got good equity.

Yup. I suggest you run a couple sims on PPT and see how you're doing vs a solid range. And it's not just the hands that gii that you get value from, many weak hands call the flop raise

SB checks - do we cbet this flop? Villian is very loose, with 4/5 fold to cbet. I don't want to get checkraised coz I have a backdoor nFD, so just check?

there's 2 reasons to check back in spots like this

    1) you wanna protect your checking range
    2) you wanna play pot control vs a villain who c/r the flop a ton

1 is irrelevant at micros as noone pays attention to range, especially not the fish.
2 is worth considering, but you also miss a ton of value from the million random combos he peels a turn with.

sometimes your c-bet gets c/r and you wish you'd just checked back. doesn't necessarily mean c-betting wasn't the correct play

hey guys, dont know if its the right place but didn't found anything other so gimme mercy if i'm wrong. after a long time being a silent reader i thought i could register and get into some discussions so i can become a better player and get new views on things. some microstakes player know me(not for being a nice guy :/), but i try to change that so i can evolve as a person and a player. been berating bad player and maybe better regs, so i banned my chat becauss i actually think its really weak, bad mannered and absolutely disgraceful. had/have some really crazy tilt issues which i try to prevent by using a stop-loss now and yet it seems to help me. but now enough self-pity. my goal is it to climb through the stakes from now on(i know easier said then done), and jump to the next limit if i have 50bi for it. grinding this weak really hard, using pokerjuice and watching rio seem to show some results. i'm up >50bi this week and hope to climb to plo10 again at the end of the week(prefarable before/on sunday). lookin for someone to talk about hands/poker in general, so if anyone is up for it even tho i haven't shown the best of myself send me a pm with your skype and i'll add you. now for anyone who is playin micros and thinks they are unbeatable because of rake/other things my graph for the weak(plz no jinx*fingerscrossed).
