I've been playing some PLO. It reminds me a lot of my days playing no fold'em limit hold'em. The idea isn't so much to flop top pair and hope it holds up like uNL hold'em. It's more to flop a strong draw and get paid off when it hits.
Honestly, it seems like a lot of fun. I hope that changes soon, or else I just might have a new main game.

So with flop games, particularly PL/NL games, the money is made by outplaying your opponent after the flop when the bets are large relative to the blinds. Everyone says that 6-max NL hold'em provided the best opportunity for a good player to outplay opponents after the flop.
After playing PLO, I think that's crap. Omaha provides the best opportunity to outplay your opponent after the flop.
BTW, I think my year of playing limit hold'em better prepared me for PLO than NL hold'em.
I was saving my Stars FPPs for bonuses & the leather jacket, but I'm burning them all tonight on Omaha books.
