lol I played a $20 omaha freezeout tournament. 19 players registred, only 1500 starting stack. I got 2nd under the following circumstances: when it was HU I had 1200 chip stack, blinds were 50/100 and I had voluntarily put money in the pot twice. Massive donkament. The guy who should have gotten second stacked off 9000 chips with 9 high flushdraw, and the winner at one point thought for 40 seconds on the flop 2QA and then lamented having to fold KK.

Ok quick live hand that doesn't merit its own thread. BB is sorta aggro fish, don't have any strong reads but tilts easily and his A-game isn't very strong.

Check/fold or smallish bet/fold seems ok. You can get value from 910Q hands with a bet and hes probably not raising riv w/ 89 if you bet small but is prob value betting if checked to. Which is why first insinct of check/fold prob seems best assuming hes thinking on the same level as you (ie dumb bet with 910Q cause you almost never get called by worse)

i feel like its a check call. i wouldnt call anything bigger than half the pot tho. its a tough spot. seems to me that if he doesnt have the 8 then he was drawing so perhaps the 9 hit a qT9 type hand? also, can an over pair qq, kk be ruled out here?

I checked, he checked it back and I won. After the hand I'm just not sure he's capable of turning his 8 into a bluff unless he's got some really dirty kickers.

i completely misread the hand. i probably woulda bet the river.

id like your thoughts on this hand. perhaps things should have been done differently before the river but as played what is your opinion?

also any thoughts on the action before the river would be appreciated. in this session the guy rebought several times for just 30. it was sort of a loose game. obviously i was doing well against him.
