i'm playing hu against a spewtard who has no fold button postflop ever for top pair.

he's been 100bb deep. he just lost a big pot last hand and didn't have time to reload yet. he is 50bb deep. i have 4432ss in the sb.
raise/call or limp/call? i'm assuming raise/fold and limp/fold are out of the question, right?

another match villain is shortstacker playing 40bb deep. 4th hand of match. i have A93h6h in sb. raise/fold, raise/call,limp/call,limp/fold?

I limp/call.

BTW I limp/fold almost never. Only against very specific opponents.

actually the more i think about it his spew was more postflop than preflop

one last preflop question. hu plo 100. I have KT54 no suits. 100bb deep. unknown villain. i am in sb. what do you do?

Limp/call that too.

BTW in that first hand: his PFR (not 3-bet) in the BB when you limp is relevant too. If it's high then you can make a case for folding. 4432ss is really a ****ty hand.

IME most unknowns like to 3-bet on the first hand more than usual. Probably something like 65/35 for raise/calling or limp/calling sounds about right. I wouldn't raise/fold right off the bat against anyone 100bbs deep, <50bbs then maybe.

Open-folding some trashy hands too. Definitely tighter right off the bat, but if I pick up a big hand I'm likely to play it fast.

Gus Hansen commented in an episode of Gus TV that Brian Hastings is the master of raise / folding. Gus even did it once.

The % is obviously very dendent on your opponent's OOP call and 3-bet percentages.

finally some rungood sessions at a level higher than plo25, seems like its been months. i have loosened up a bit last few weeks , which also helps for not tilting since you're not being all patient only to lose the hand you waited for.

This is all 5/10+ since I had that tourney score, which is pretty big for me seeming as I was taking failed shots at 2/4 at the time. Downswing is going to hurt badly... I just hope I'm actually good enough to be winning at 5/10 over the long run.
