anyone thats played with my lately probably would probably have noticed that for the first 2 days of the month i was constantly coolered and other such bs, which meant my runbad wasnt reflected in my aiev. not to worry, today im back on track!



14 bi below ev session, up to ~260 below, 40 to go to hit that magic 300!

on the plus side im only on track for ~75bi below expectation month, which at least would be better than 2 of my last 4. baby steps amirite?

i was a lhe player with most hands not on my comp prior to switching to plo mid last year... ive only played plo for about 16 months total

in a relative sense ive definitely run good lifetime tho (as pretty much all pros have). ive just run 'bad' this past year. as ive said, im not even sure im running bad and this isnt just a fairly standard run in plo in a forum of people who have run like god.

just played afternoon session, only another 5 bi under, but they all add up. up to 265 now, and on track for 112 bi under aiev month. this is why i pray for 50 bi under aiev months. they would be pure godlike compared to what i actually see.

It's one thing to complain about running bad when your EVBB is > 4, but when it's not, there are much better things to spend your time doing.

why? ive never understood that whole 'prideful' thing. the only thing that matters is profit, who cares if its from vpps or won at the table?

if i run at aiev i make ~$130k/year as a breakeven player. maybe thats nothing to you, but if its nothing then why do you complain about running bad and play 100plo?

also considering that im breakeven in EVBB during a period that includes:

-running almost 300 bi under aiev
-a time when i tilted a lot at the start of the year due to vip changes and dropped a bunch in a short period of time
-i cant base this on much, but i dont think im biased to at least say ive run below average in flopping and coolers etc

i dont think its a big stretch to say that im at least a 1 EVBB/100 winner

FWIW if your EV line is anywhere near BE after 0.9m hands you're doing something wrong IMHO

when you go buy something do you say "by the way im paying this with money that i won at the tables"? money is money.

1) you'll get crushed once you move up where regs are actually good at PLO unless you significantly work on your game

2) you will sustain much higher variance from having a lower win rate

3) you'll eventually be stuck with a large bankroll and the inability to play at the stakes you're rolled for
