Not a big fan of this hand but still think its playable. But our position after the flop relative to the 3bettor is very bad so folding might be better than calling.

On the flop i tjink we are better of just calling the bet. We have little all in equity and the prob. of villain calling us is too high given his action.

We can still try to push out villain on a later street.

Raise/ call pre is fine with a hand this well connected in MP.

@Derjan, unless I misread the HH, we have position on the 3bettor post flop, MP vs. BB.

I don't think you have a whole lot fold equity here against a thinking player. You shouldn't have too many 88xx or 3xxx combos in your MP opening range so by jamming here you don't rep much value so you'll get called a lot. Wouldn't be a spot I'd be folding overpairs in villain's shoes - given his exact hand very good call against your range imo.

Call flop and play some turns. Your spades can be good outs sometimes, J's are obviously good and being able to bluff or get to cheap show down on some run outs helps also.

Bad position = in between the 3bettor and the rest of the field.

So every time the 3bettor continues on the flop and we flop something mediocre we have a diificult time cause we have to decide with one or two others to act after us.

We probably can't bluff many runouts, right? I'm thinking 9T, maybe QQ/KK but it's risky? Would you be turning your hand into a bluff on 97 or 9Q here?
Also, are we folding on pretty much all turns except 9, J, and spades?
