We're only 10 hands in, and we've been HU the whole time. Villain seems rather passive. It's actually a FR table but it hasn't filled up yet.

Re-raise. You have the second nuts, he only has two dollars left and your hand is underrepresented given your really small bet on the turn and river.

Unless you know your opponent to be a -complete- nit who wouldn't raise you even when you make less than 1/3rd pot-sized donk bets on the turn and river without the absolute nuts then you should ship the rest of the monies in. But since it is so early in the match you have to go with what you do know: he is a half-stacker at 25plo. That means that even ten hands into the match he could still very well be borderline maniac, a holdem player, stoned, a super lover of thin value or whatever.

This should put his range on a whole bunch of full houses and some busted draws - with the very rare nut straight raise. Your small bet on the turn and river easily either induced a bluff by missed diamonds or convinced him that his K6 or 88 deserved more than $1.50 - so you have to at least call, but raising is probably better in this case because your opponent only two dollars more to call into a pot of over twenty dollars - that'll be tempting enough that you might even get someone to call with a busted draw just because it was worth two dollars to them to see your hand.

Think it's amazingly standard to put him in in that spot heads up. If he has it he has it.

I think you lose a lot value logn run by not putting him allin there.(even though he has like $2 left)

Ok I get it, and I'm glad that I made the right decision (reraise).

Would a reraise be as justified if he had been deep, lets say still 15$ behind after his flop raise ? And would it have been justified if this had happened 9handed ?

Spoiler:

Btw he turned out to have 88Kx
