On one hand folding here feels really weak, on the other I feel like nearly every time I call here I see a pot controlled flush.

Villain is probably a fish. I normally cbet flop but had been getting run over a bit (he's not a maniac though I dont think) so I checked to mix it up and just bluffcatch.

Just kind of wanted to here people's experiences in this spot, as I find myself losing with smaller flushes in this spot.

Grabbed by Holdem Manager
PL Omaha $6(BB) Replayer
Hero ($689)
Villain($912)

Dealt to Hero 7 6 A 5

Villain raises to $18, Hero raises to $54, calls $36

FLOP ($108) 7 T 2

Hero checks, Villain bets $54, Hero calls $54

TURN ($216) 7 T 2 Q

Hero checks, Villain checks

RIVER ($216) 7 T 2 Q 6

Hero checks, Villain bets $216

when i call in these spots they always have it, especially vs competent opponents. since he is a fish he could use the bet, check bet line more often as a bluff I guess, but even vs fish I've lost a ton here. game theory wise its a snap call.

Do you have any history with this opponent? Have you ever checked the turn and check-raised the river before?

I find in these spots checking and folding is usually correct, but I mix in some check-raising too. Seems like he can never have the nuts, but you still can. Realize stacks are a little light but if you think this opponent isn't great (can make a good read) or terrible (I has a flush!!) you should fold out some flushes.

I realize your hand has some showdown value, but if he will ever fold a flush then check-raising doesn't have to work much to show a profit. (No time for math)
