I think polarizing your 3betting is much more of a NLHE concept, and it would be much better to have a merged range from AA down to like 5678ds or something (obviously not including all the hands in between, but typing out a list of eligible bachelors would be a waste of time). What to 3bet in PLO depends much more on position and opponents than maintaining a polarized range or whatever, and I feel like maintaining a polarized 3betting range means
not 3betting a ton of hands that would be +EV to 3bet and would be included in a merged range.
Also, in NL, if you don't polarize to an extent, hands can be completely discounted from your range. This is not true in PLO in the same way, due to the fact that you can have AA with whatever side cards in your 3bet range.
