In hand 1, in general, I think you're better off doing anything except c/c. You can get away with a c/c against passive opponents, but you're just going to be playing way too blindly on the turn and river against anyone capable of any aggression. A c/r is an interesting line under the right circumstances; you should really only do it against someone who is going to try stealing a lot; someone who views you as a nit or scared money; or someone you view as a nit or scared money. Personally, I think you're better off just leading, and probably two barreling a lot of cards: you're just not going to get played back at often enough to worry about preserving equity or not getting blown off your draw.

Hand 2 is an annoying spot without any reads, but I'd tend to just muck the flop as irritating as it is given the hand started multi-way. As played, I think you should fold the turn or consider calling the river. However, I think a turn fold is correct in this hand.

the problem with str8 draws on these boards is that if u are not drawing dead cards that improve u improve him as well

calling flop & turn with vulnerable hands until the big river bet comes out then fold = recipe for disaster in any form of poker

in almost all hands like this if you call turn you really should already know what to do on the river and not need to post hands... otherwise just fold the turn or raise.
