Ok so simple question I want to ask is: was this the right spot to mkae the bluff?
Figured highly unlikely had the straight and was just C-betting overpair on flop. Sb and Bb were both serial donkers so thought they'd have made some noise if they'd caught a piece.
Another question is once he calls the turn should i the barrell the river or accept he's gonna call that too?
    only 28 hands on villain in PT4 but had VPIP93 & PFR53 3B0

Thanks, sorry if just a fishy play but gotta start somewhere

you're valuebetting river too thin imo.

tbh I think I would play every single street differently, starting with an almost mandatory 3bet pre

wait what, you're bluffing river? As apo5tol said it's prob too thin a value bet although that said having seen the results villain's b/c flop is just lol and maybe you could get away with value betting river! +1 to apo5tol about playing every street differently.

Tough to get anyone to fold 2 pair or better on this type of board, and given villains willingness to call a flop raise and turn bet, I doubt he is folding for a half pot bet on the river.

I'd check the river and hope he was drawing with something like a pair + straight draw and missed. Pretty much the only hands that are calling you, are beating you.

your line coincidentally was kind of optimal if he has TT JJ QQ in his flop bet/call range , a coincidence which relies on bad play which is common in plo5, so the line is barely excusable as a niche (say the dumbass has distinct limp/ min bet and pot bet open tendency )but is far off default play of 3b pre... a flat is viable as 4ways it will be easy to get it in when you hit the top 10% of flops and 3bing OOP is going to weight your range to the big pair - which is only mandatory if you have double suits and more connectivity. The 4 way pot option merits consideration sometimes. More so if it is UTG pot open from tight player because it will cut his aa:!aa alot vs CO open which should be accounted even though it's commonly believed to be not so significant

As played river is a really terrible bet however his set hit is liekly incoincedental ( he wasn't playing any straight or bdfd on flop) and he may be tilted or bad enough to call with JJ QQ, i'd rather just check behind though because he could also be terrible in other dimensions

these hands should be fit or fold by the turn and largely removable from his range, although same can be said for his TT through QQ - it might not be.
