I was very active at the table. I did 3bet about 10 % of my hands.
Villain is a regular and he is running hotter than the sun

I did 3bet the mediocre aces because I was also hopping that he would 4bet his hand. (I am on button too...)

Do you like my bet fold there? Or do you check and reevaluate the turn card?

bet fold makes the hand easy to play imo

Easy bet fold. And u have to 3bet this 100% dont even think about it twice. Unless u have a strong read that one of the buttons are 3betting non stop...

I mean if he is thinking player he probably knows at best you're going to have an overpair in this spot and you're going to c-bet it a lot after 3-betting. So it's a good flop for him to make a move on if he's expecting you to be bet/folding a majority of your range.

how about a flat? anyone think his sizing polarizes his range? if our plan is to get it in we atleast let him make stupid bluffs sometimes and our hand is going to be really easy to play on the turn anyway.

I like betting smaller or even checking back. If you bet smaller or check back you induce more bluffs. Also, as deep as you are you want to be using pot control to avoid tough spots like this. Plus if you check back flop you might get value on later streets from hands like JJxx, QQxx, KKxx, etc. I think checking back it solid, but I think if you're going to bet just bet like 30 or 40. No reason to bet more because the more you bet the more likely it is hes just going to fold out all the hands you can beat and raise you with hands that put you in bad shape. For some reason small bets make people spaz out and it gives alot more value to your hand.

I think its much different given the likely hood of him having 2 pair on that board is much higher than 237, also hes more likely to have wraps + pairs on that board than he would 237 given his range of calling preflop.
I think that flop may make it closer of a decision but with less blockers I would lean more towards folding
