Poker Stars $0.10/$0.25 Pot Limit Omaha Hi - 6 players
The Official 2+2 Hand Converter Powered By DeucesCracked.com

Hero (MP): $29.95
CO: $31.30
BTN: $20.28
SB: $38.38
BB: $31.01
UTG: $29.33

Pre Flop: ($0.35) Hero is MP with K 7 K 9
1 fold, Hero raises to $0.85, 1 fold, BTN raises to $2, 2 folds, Hero calls $1.15

Flop: ($4.35) 3 3 8 (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $1.50, Hero calls $1.50

I have some troubles to play this kind of hand, vilain is a fish playing 53/5 14%3bet over 20 hands only.

Do you 4bet pre to play with initiative ?
If you call oop, what's your plan? Will you c/f if dont get any additionnal draw on the turn or if you dont hit a king ?

Spoiler:
Turn: ($7.35) 6 (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $2, Hero ?

As played, what do you do on this turn against such a weird bet sizing ?

why? do we fold out better and get called by worse? seems to make sense to either allow him to bluff or pay off small bets to 3***.

if he would 3bet more I would 4bet pf

flop call

turn call, raise could be good also because his betsize screams some kind of draw

over 20 hands i'd just fold to the 3b the first time and watch him over some more hands before you start making adjustments to him preflop.

i can't count the number of times i thought a guy with 20 hands showing 50/40 25% 3-bet stats, turned into a 20/10/3% 3-bet guy at the end of the session. i swear i've lost 20 or more buyins (over various limits) 4-bet/shipping kings versus people by making too preemptive of conclusions.

anyway as for flop against a brand new guy i'd c/c all three streets just to see what he was doing it with, given he's betting small. if he bet big on flop and then on turn i'd just c/f the turn. paired boards are very player dependent, so you don't wanna make a bad move until you see what he's betting small with.

i think folding pre is really bad period let alone to such a small raise.

oops, yeah totally.

for some reason i thought it was a repot pre. wouldn't fold that in a million years.
