Villain is normal competent reg, not too aggro or anything.

I want some other opinions on this. Imo I should just barrell the turn and stack off since that way I create a nice shovingspot for all his draws and I get it in really really good sometimes. Everyone barrells these turns alot anyway so I think villain needs to combat those barrells aggressively. So if he's adjusted, my adjustment would be bet/c, right?

What do you think?

why do you raise turn, do you expect him to fold 8xxx? Check calling turn is best because there are not so many bad rivers for us + we keep villains range wider.

Yup c/r just don't make sense. I guess you're not putting him on an 8 all the time and want to fold his higher flush draws?

C/c as tsajaja says, but I don't mind b/calling turn either.

Nop, I actually like your line. Can't see any point in C/C here, we call the turn, then get bluffed on the river? Or give a free card?
I would either just fold or get it in.
There are ton of draws and wraps in his range.
Playin passive flat call poker is very exploitable. Get it arrin imo

We dont mind giving free card here too much + we are calling plenty of rivers depense on card / action.

Yeah lets close our eyes and shove so we dont have any hard choices @ later streets. Easiest choice is not allways best.

Thats why our hand is strong enough to check call turn, so we keep all kind of ****ty draws in his range + when we raise his calling range should be pretty polarized.

There are spots in omaha where you want to slow down and its not exploitable at all unless you are bad.

But unless he puts more money in unimproved its still a negative freeroll to keep all kind of ****ty draws in. Amirite?
I assume you check riv 100%, what cards are you c/c or c/f? To me it shouldn't really matter since he's either semibluffing or got a better hand, I dont think making our flush makes a big difference, he's not gonna valueshove worse hands OTR anyway.

Well, I guess you could fold straightening cards even if he wouldn't valuebet straights, and call when his wraps would need to bluff. A little of the same logic would apply to smaller flushdraws. So the absolute worse card for us IF he bets river would be 6 .

Noone likes b/c v good villain?
