I'd definitely led out on the flop or go for the c/r, you hit your set+backdoor nfsd, so no need to back down. villain takes weak stabs especially on turn, so it is unlikely he even has the straight IMO

Tough spot. I think you have donkbet this flop, that way you can do the same when you 3-bet with rundowns etc. Check-raise is good too.

Would be interesting to know his perception of you since it's crucial in this hand. If he thinks your a passive calling station donk or a good player. I think your stats and recent hands are much more important than his stats in this instance.

His line makes little sense. Maybe he was bluffing with blockers planning to bet big on river unless the board paired and then he either got there or pussied out on the river, I dunno. I don't get why he's betting so small, maybe he flopped the nuts + a set or something ridic .

The small bets might just be for value though, after your call on the flop he can pretty much put you on either a set(maybe top two) or straight and he can comfortably fold if the board pairs since you shouldn't be bluffing if the board pairs very often. If you shove or raise when the board pairs he should pretty much be able to fold it unless you're a maniac.

He probably knows im a reg, im running 20/15 for the session with an AF of 3-4, only 3% 3bet (so he probably knows i often have aces here)

Which is why it doesn't make sense for him to be betting so small on flop and turn if he had the straight since it's unlikely you would fold a set. Unless he was setting up a river bluff(FPS). But then he bets 30$ on the river which makes me think he's doing it for value. I guess he could have been bluffing with a blocker hand like KK or JJB and then decided to go for value/thin value on the river when he hit a straight/set. Somehow it looks like he was bluffing and then his bluff turned into a made hand on river.

Or he just has the straight and tried to get value out of two-pair/sets ...

Anyway I think your big mistake was c/c the flop.

pot flop, fold to a reraise that does not give you odds to draw out.
